 Recognition
  • a vigorous, dense shrub, often scrambling, with stems covered in scale-like hairs.
  • its leaves are 4.5-9 cm long, green above and silvery beneath as they are covered in scales,
  • its inflorescence has a few flowers in the leaf axils.
  • its flowers are fragrant, pendulous, and 10-13 mm long
  • its fruit are 1.5-1.8 cm long and reddish orange.
