  • its stalkless, hairy leaves are elongated (up to 15 cm long), dull green, and have toothed margins.
  • it produces upright flowering stems (up to 75 cm tall).
  • its flower-heads (usually 8-20) are borne in small dense clusters at the top of the stems.
  • these flower-heads are yellow in colour.
