  • a perennial herbaceous plant with hairy stems and climbing by slender, twining petioles.
  • its leaves are up to 7.5 cm long, hairy, and strongly toothed on the margins.
  • its flowers are solitary and in the leaf axils, and the corolla is about 7 cm long and pink.
  • its capsule is globose and about 1.5 cm across and the seeds have a broad wing.
