  • a perennial herbaceous plant with stoloniferous shoots and hollow stems.
  • its leaves are pinnate with 5 leaflets, up to 3 cm long, and glabrous to sparsely hairy.
  • its flowers are yellow and 1-1.3 cm long.
  • its pod is straight, rounded, and contains seeds about 1 mm across.
