Recognition
- a small long-lived herbaceous plant forming rosettes of leaves on the ground and with slender stolons.
- its stalkless, hairy leaves are elongated (up to 20 cm long), glaucous, and have entire or scarcely toothed margins.
- it produces upright flowering stems (up to 45 cm tall).
- its flower-heads (usually 10-25) are borne in small dense clusters at the top of the stems.
- these flower-heads are yellow in colour.
