 Recognition
  • a small rounded evergreen shrub up to 2 m high.
  • its leaves are simple, alternate, obovate, up to 35 mm long, silver-grey, and covered with soft, fine hairs.
  • its flowers are solitary in the leaf axils, pea-like, about 10 mm long, and are pink.
  • its pod is inflated, up to 35 mm long, and contains 7-9 hard seeds.
