 Description

Low-growing bulbous perennials with oniony smell when bruised. Bulb tunicate. Leaves all basal, linear, ± fleshy, flat, base sheathing. Scape erect; spathe-valves 2. Flowers solitary, pedicellate, tubular below, lobes spreading above. Staminal-filaments without appendages, broadened below, subulate above. Capsule loculicidal. Seeds many.
