 Description

Evergreen lianes. Lvs opposite, petiolate, imparipinnate; leaflets serrate; tendrils 0. Infl. a terminal panicle of large pink fls. Calyx 5-lobed, inflated, > corolla tube; tube campanulate; lobes apiculate. Corolla moderately 2-lipped; tube cylindric below, ± campanulate above; lobes < tube, subequal, spreading. Stamens 4, didynamous, included; anthers diverging at maturity; filaments glandular towards base of free portion and on adnate part below. Disc prominent, cup-shaped. Ovary 2-locular, glabrous. Capsule elongated, linear. Seeds winged.
