Recognition
  • a much branched evergreen or deciduous climber.
  • its leaves are alternate, thin, twice pinnate, glabrous or with small hairs, and have much branched tendrils at the end.
  • it inflorescence is a raceme with numerous flowers, and the flower stalks with glandular hairs.
  • its flower is about 2.5 cm long, orange-red,
  • its capsule is up to 4.5 cm long, with a rough surface and contains black and winged seeds.
