Recognition
  • a medium-sized to large tree with oppositely arranged, simple, and aromatic leaves.
  • its leaves are simple, leathery, glossy above, and dotted with glands below.
  • its flowering in a terminal, branched, many-flowered panicle
  • flowers are small, whitish and inconspicuous .
  • its fruit are rounded or obovoid, usually 1-2 cm across, and pinkish mauve or white.
