 Description

Fls unisexual to polygamous; panicles compound; sepals 5, united at base, valvate; petals 5, stamens 10, filaments filiform. Ovary 2-celled, styles persistent; ovules ∞; capsules coriac., 2-valved, septicidally dehiscent. Shrubs or trees with pinnate lvs.
