 Description

Leaf-blade (1.5)–4–10 cm × (2)–4–12 mm, ovate-lanceolate. Panicle (6)–8–17 cm; rachis of racemelets and of spikelet-clusters 5–15–(30) mm. Spikelets 4–12 in lower racemelets and clusters, paired or solitary near apex of rachis. Awn of upper glume 1–1.5–(2) mm.
