 Description

Low, loose, dull-green, cushion shrublet, with clustered, appressed leafy branchlets. Gnarled, older, leafless stems usually visible. Leaf hairs dense abaxially but usually sparse adaxially, yellowish or dull-white, curled or sometimes straight. Flowers 1–2 per head. Fruits pale orange.
