 Description

Very slender; rhizome short. Stems 30–40 cm, almost filiform but stiff and erect, blue-green, ridged, dull, pith interrupted. Basal sheaths pinkish-brown, closely appressed. Inflorescence 2–4 cm long, spreading, fan-shaped. Flowers secund. Tepals 2–2.5 mm long, ± equal, acute. Stamens 3–(4). Capsule c. 2.5 mm long, < tepals, oblong-ovoid, obtuse, light brown.
